Home Again is my third collection of haiku. Mostly written between 2017 and 2023, these haiku continue my quest to portray the woods, fields, train tracks and dirt roads of where I live in Southern New Jersey. Comprised of nearly 200 poems, about a third of which are previously unpublished, Home Again runs the gamut of modern English Language Haiku. From traditional 3 line poems and monoku, to experimental non-haiku these poems show my commitment to the genre and power of the short poem and the openness to change that Basho advocated way back when.
