"star by star" is my second collection of haiku released in September 2017. Some of these poems date back 20 years to when I first started writing haiku. The rest were written since writing and releasing my first book "Mostly Water" in 2015. Most were previously published in haiku journals and anthologies. A few did well in contests. About 20 are only available in this collection. Interestingly (to me at least) I don't think my poems have changed much over the years. The old and new poems both contain the qualities that first drew me to haiku and which I still strive for in my work: simplicity, freshness and poetic truth. These were all hand-made and stitched by me and mark the start of my own publishing imprint Odd Duck Press. I'd love to send you a copy! Thanks for looking.
